Responsible for the installation, upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all computer systems. Manages system and data backups.

Manages the network - servers, switches, routers, firewalls, access points, VPNs, etc. Maximizes system uptime and ensures end users have access to data and applications.

Acquires, deploys, supports, and troubleshoots all end user hardware (PCs, cell phones, desk phones, tablets, RF guns, mobile printers, office printers, etc.).

Acquires, deploys, configures, supports, and troubleshoots all end user software.

Understands business and ensures end users have the right hardware, software, and system access to perform their jobs.

Manages relationships with cloud service providers. Ensures connectivity to cloud based applications and compatibility with company computer systems.

Administers network and application access and security. Adds, deletes, and updates user information. Controls access and resets passwords. Ensures each end user has the appropriate access to data and applications.

Responsible for system security, firewalls, malware, anti-virus, etc.

Supports all users with hardware and software issues. Resourceful problem solver. Can troubleshoot issues as they come up. Good common sense, judgment and decision making.

Availability and willingness to provide support and assistance outside of normal business hours when issues occur.
QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years' experience in system administration

Associate or higher degree in a related field

Certificates a plus
-
Experience with SharePoint and Office 365
-
Experience with Windows, iOS, cloud-based systems, network hardware, and wireless devices.
