The Pre-Sales Representative reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for managing, maintaining and selling all brands to current accounts while developing superior relationships with all cutomers to achieve the best “partner” relationship possible and achieve the “Look of the Leader” in the market.

  • Serve as a role model for 7G Distributing by establishing mutual respect with management and co-workers.  Lead by example to promote teamwork, cooperation and enhanced morale.

  • Increase volume and distribution by supplier/brand/sku for assigned accounts as established in the 7G Distributing annual plan.

  • Maintain and/or grow market share for assigned accounts as set forth in the 7G Distributing annual plan as measured in competitive sales reports.

  • Sell new package placements and tap handles as prioritized and directed by monthly sales goal (All 7G brands).

  • Dominate merchandising in all assigned accounts.

  • Maintain the structured sales call frequency for all assigned accounts.

  • Prepare and transmit orders consistent with retail needs and 7G Distributing goals before the stated order cut-off time.

  • Utilize the handheld order entry and account management computer as a selling tool, ensuring all products are reviewed in order to prevent out of stocks and hot shots.

  • Advise and train retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling, merchandising and pricing products, always putting the needs of the retailer first.

  • Be aware of competitive trends in your market, adjust selling strategies accordingly to ensure 7G is winning in the marketplace and communicate competitive trends and to the Sales Team Leader.

  • Maintain control of retailer inventories to ensure adequate product is available for sale while, minimizing out of stocks.

Compensation for this position ranges from $45,000 to $50,000, annually. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field,

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office,

  • Strong leadership skills that include effective time management, prioritizing and      delegation

  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a team environment,

  • Valid driver’s license,

  • Ability to lift up to 165 pounds (to move kegs from time-to-time).
